Gateway has updated its LT21 series with the N450 Pine trail processors from Intel. Rest of the specs have not undergone any change. You get the vanilla 10.1-inch display with 1024x600 resolution, a roomy keyboard, 1GB RAM, 160/250GB hard disk, 3 USB 2.0 ports, VGA and multi-card reader. There are two operating systems to choose from – Windows XP and Windows 7 Starter

Gateway LT2102H available in Canada – Pine Trail netbook

Gateway LT2102H has surfaced on the Canadian land. This is the first Pine Trail netbook by Gateway that sports same specifications as the Acer 532H netbook. There is one annoying minor difference though – it comes with 3-cell battery. Just do not expect this to give you more than 2.5 hours of battery life.

The new EC1805U is the new thin and light netbook by Gateway with 11.6-inch LED display. It features an Intel SU3500 CPU, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, HDMI output and runs Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 as OS. After looking at its specs, name of Aspire 1410 will start floating on your mind. The New Gateway EC-100 is mighty strong – Priced at 450 Euros

Gateway has rolled out an 11.6-inch EC1400-31K netbook. It is equipped with the Intel's new SU2300 1.2GHz CULV (Celeron) processor, which is more powerful than the Intel Atom processors found in most of the netbooks. It features 2GB of RAM, 250GB of HDD, WiFi, Web camera and weighs around 1.4kg.It is set to carry a price tag of €450. Expect it to land in late September in Japan. It is not known at the moment when it will make its way to US or EU.

Gateway LT3100 netbooks uses AMD processor

Gateway has launched LT3100, which uses AMD Neo processor along with the ATI Radeon X1270 graphics. The AMD Neo is the processor that the AMD specially made for the ultra-portables. Since, lines between ultra-portables and netbooks have become blurrier than ever, it makes perfect sense to use the processors meant for ultra-portables in netbooks (and vice-versa).It comes with some features that are not usually present in usual netbooks. For example, unlike most netbooks that come with 1GB RAM, the Gateway LT3100 comes with 2GB RAM. It also comes with massive 250GB HDD (most netbooks come with 160GB HDD). To power this powerful netbook, Gateway has equipped it a 6-cell battery. Also, it seems that folks Gateway were so impressed with LT3100 that put in a Vista Basic instead of Windows XP. It will be offered in two colors: NightSky Black and Cherry Red. It is pretty modestly priced at $400.

Gateway LT1001i officially launched in Philippines

Gateway LT1001i has made its way to the Philippines. It comes with a fairly standard netbook specifications:

It will cost you a little over $400. All those specs makes the LT1001i a great overall netbook. With many netbook companies moving away from the 8.9-inch netbooks, it is nice to see certain companies still rolling out 8.9-inch netbook models. Gateway to launch LT1001j Netbook in Japan

Gateway plans to launch netbook “LT101j” in Japan. Gateway is made by Acer. So the LT1001j has been called brother of the Acer Aspire One by some.
