How to make your Viliv S5 run faster

How to make your Viliv S5 run faster

Find your Viliv S5 slow? Well,if you are comfortable in doing a little overclocking, you can make the overall experience better to a certain extent. Here is how to do it:

First, download setFSB from here. Then, use setFSB to increase the FSB to 160MHz. This will basically set the clock speed to 1.6GHz, thus running your Viliv faster.

You can also set the FSB to 186MHz, which will make Viliv S5 to run at even higher clock speeds, that is, 1.86GHz. However, we won’t recommend you doing this as it may harm your device.

PS: Increase FSB by 5MHz each time so that the whole system does not crash.

PS2: The setFSB is only available for Windows 7, Windows XP and Vista
