Acer expected to ship 8-9 million notebooks in 3rd Quarter 2009

Acer has revealed that they have shipped an estimated 2.5-2.7 million notebooks in the month of July 2009 and is expected to ship 8-9 million units in the third quarter of 2009. Acer has already shipped 5.8 million notebooks in the first quarter of 2009 and 6.6 million units in the second.
