Priced at $600, it measures 11.2 x 8.03 x 0.9/1.2-inch and weighs 3.31 pounds. It runs 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium OS and comes with 5600mAh 6-cell Battery that should run good for 5-hoursThe Acer Ferrari One (model FO200-1799) has 11.6-inch display with1366 x 768 resolution just like the current Acer's 11.6-incher, Aspire 751H. Underneath, it runs a much more powerful dual core AMD Athlon 64 X2 L310 processor (1.2GHz), 4GB RAM, AMD M780G Chipset and 250GB Hard disk. It has a nice ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphic card instead of the pathetic GMA 500 chipset. However, there is no HDMI port in this model. We wonder why was it removed since it has the GPU and CPU to run HD videos perfectly.Read Acer Ferrari One review

Malata Tablet Netbook

NetBook

news

nokia

black coffee

chinese company

clock speed

distinctive feature

ferrari

gold

hdd

Intel

malata

Malata chinese netbook

Malata netbook

Malata Tablet

Malata Tablet Netbook

n270

tablet netbook

Chinese company, Malata has unveiled a new Tablet netbook, R108T. Its XGP port caught a lot of attention when it is first unveiled. According to CNET, the XGP interface can be used to plug-in a dock that has the ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4670 GPU which has the capability of pushing a mighty 2048x1536 pixels on its external display. The dock also adds 6 USB 2.0 ports. So, if you think that its dual-core chip along with its internal ATi GPU was not enough, you can further have the boost by just plugging in an external GPU, which the Acer calls, DynaVivid Graphics Dock. This dock weighs 650gm and will be available for $199 in the month of November.

Acer Ferrari One quick review

Articles

NetBook

news

1366x768 resolution

acer ferrari netbook

acer ferrari netbook review

acer ferrari one

acer ferrari one review

acer ferrari review

amd

amd athlon

clock speed

ferrari

integrated graphics

netbooks

usb ports

Apart from sporting stunning and sleek looks, Acer Ferrari One netbook is based on AMD's Congo platform. Some people may regard it as ultrathin notebook, but we prefer to call it a netbook with lots of muscle-power.Its AMD Athlon X2 L310 processor works at 1.2GHz clock speed and features 1MB of L2 cache. It has Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics which comes with up to 2048MB of HyperMemory or to be precise it has 256+128MB of dedicated memory and up to 1663MB of shared system memory. The netbook/notebook is equipped with 2GB of DDR2 667/800 RAM ( upgradable upto 4GB as it has two SO-DIMM slots). This is unlike most of the netbooks that can have only upto 2GB RAM and sport only one SO-DIMM slot.Click on read more to read more

Acer Ferrari One is a Netbook or Mini-Notebook?

NetBook

acer ferrari netbook

acer ferrari notebook

ati radeon

clock speed

dual core

ferrari

graphic chipset

mini notebook

netbooks

notebooks

ulv

Acer has unveiled their new red hot Ferrari One netbook, which resembles the Aspire Timeline 1810T or 1410 (Aspire One 751H + Intel ULV processor). Expect the price to be around 499 Euros (USD 720).Commentary: So, is this a mini-notebook or a netbook? Gone are the days when we used to consider the netbooks as scaled down 'weak' versions of full-size notebooks. Now, many netbook manufactures are coming with ION or ION LE-powered netbooks, which pack a lot of muscle as compared to netbooks that came in early 2009. With the release of Acer Ferrari One, the netbooks will no longer be considered as weak.
