eviGroup Pad now on sale
According to Nowhereelse in France, the eviGroup Pad 10.2-inch touchscreen slate tablet is on sale now. It is listed at 499 Euro ($750) for the standard model and 599 Euro ($890) for the Elite model that comes with 3G, Seline software and a carrying pouch. The removable battery should give you around 2 hours
Its screen has a similar resolution that one find in normal netbooks: 1024×600. Weird part is that it is way over-priced considering the fact that you get netbook specs without a built-in keyboard.

So you thought that the Archos 9 Internet Tablet is the only tablet running Windows 7? eviGroup, a french company is very soon going to take wraps of its 10.2-inch slate tablet. It has an Atom CPU, 160GB hard disk, 1GB RAM, 1024X600 10.2-inch display, WiFi b/g and also has 3G in-built. Just like netbooks, it has 3 USB 2.0 ports, LAN and VGA port. .
Price: 500 Euro ($750).
