MSI working on a Nvidia-Tegra based e-book reader
MSI has confirmed that they are currenttly developing an Nvidia Tegra e-book reader. MSI could have unveiled some more details, but due to some problems with the reader, one will have to wait until Q1 2010 to catch a glimpse of it.
In case you have forgotten, ASUS is also planning to unveil an ebook reader with 9-inch display very soon.


Plastic Logic QUE “e-book reader” – largest ebook display
Plastic Logic QUE is an eBook reader that will be unveiled at CES 2010 in January. It appears to have the largest E-lnk touchscreen display. You will be able to download ebooks from the Barnes and Noble store via its in-built WiFi module or 3G module. This unit measure 8.5 x 11-inch and just 0.3-inch thick. Battery life is not yet known although Plastic Logic says that it will give you days of battery life.
You can open BMP, PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files. For pricing and availability details, you will have to wait until January.

Foxconn to produce Apple tablet
Foxconn is in a contract to produce Apple’s long rumored tablet and it would be launched sometime in Q1 2010
It will have a 10.6-inch screen and more focus will be on e-book functionality rather than music. It will have really good battery life as it is supposed to be an eBook reader first and a computer second. It will have simple to use interface and internet connectivity too.
Nothing is known about exact specs of Apple’s ebook reader tablet.
