BeBook 7″ Live Tablet to be out in June

SmartDevices R7 e-book reader
Folks at SmartDevices are going to launch their first eReader in the market. This eReader, unlike most eReaders uses a color LCD display (most use eInk technology). The display is resistive touchscreen type and measures 7-inches. There are four button below the screen, one of which is a navigation button. Not much details are known at this point of time, but we promise to keep you updated about anything we find about this eReader

Fujitsu FLEPia eBook Reader
Fujitsu showcased its eBook Reader at CES 2010. This beauty comes with an 8-inch passive matrix touchscreen whose display can show upto 4096k colors. Even though there is no backlit, the images look amazing on it.
The battery life is stunning too, giving you 40hours on a single charge. There a host of connectivity options – USB, Bluetooth, WiFi and SD card slot. Costing at $1000, it may not be cheapest eBook reader, but then you are paying for quality in this case.
Energy Sistem unleashes new eBook Readers
Energy Sistem (not a typo) has released two new interesting eBook readers. Both come with a 6-inch e-Ink display with levels of grey. The display has resolution of 800×600.
The first model, Energy Book 2060 comes with 64MB of storage whereas the second one, the Energy 1060 comes with 2GB of internal storage. Storage in both models can be expanded via SDHC slot.
Supported formats: PDF, EPUB, RTF, TCR, PDB, PRC, MOBI, OPF, OEB, HTM, HTML, TXT, CHM, FB2, DJVU, DJV, MP3, PNG, TIF, GIF, BMP and JPEG

More ereader news. Meet he Owen E1 ebook reader – featuring a small 5-inch e-ink display with audio and image support, has a slew of buttons on the right side of the display.
No word on price, but we are surely very much impressed by its looks.
Paradigm Shift eBook Reader to showcase ebook readers at CES
At the upcoming CES 2010 event to be held in Las Vegas, Paradigm is going to unleash two ebook readers with 5-inch and 7-inch displays respectively.
The 7-inch model, oddly named as EER-071WF runs Windows CE OS. It has a touchscreen interface and has DRM encryption support. Since it runs Windows CE OS, it inherits the capability to run Web-browsers, word processors, media players and so on. 2GB is the storage space that is built into it, which can be easily expanded via T-Flash expansion slot. The 7-incher retails for $200
The 5-inch model – EER-051 is a pure ebook reader. It supports heaps of formats that includes ANSI, UNICODE TXT, DOC, PDF, HTML, FB2, PDB and EPUB (non-DRM encrypted). Comes with a gig of storage memory expandable via SD expansion slot. Retails for $150 and comes in a variety of colors – white, pastel blue, pastel periwinkle, pastel pink, black and silver
Aigo EB6301 e-reader introduced, priced at $367
An ebook reader, EB6301 from Aigo company have been spotted on the streets of China. It has an 6-inch e-ink display with 600×800 resolution. Measuring just 164×127×11mm, it can read quite a variety of formats – TXT, PDF, DOC, HTM/HTML, CHM, as-well-as popular image formats such as JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF and PNG.
It also has the capability of playing back your favorite music, thanks to the support for MP3, WMV, WMA audio formats. It packs a Li-Ion 1200mAh battery. You can expand its memory by using a micro-SDHC card too. Priced at $367, it does not support Internet connection.
Asus eBook reader coming next year
You must be aware about the Asus eBook reader as it was heard many times about it in the past couple of months. According to the latest reports, it will be launched next year, in month of March in the US and Europe. The company also has in mind to offer eBook readers that include internet connectivity options such as WiFi, 3G, and WiMAX.
We have already hear about their plans to launch ebook readers with 6 and 9-inch e-Ink displays and we may possibly see one with dual-screen too.
