There is massive, useless clear block at the front of this Atom-powered nettop which gives it a pleasant look. Specs-wise, it is yet-another-nettop with a dual core Intel Atom 330 processor and NVIDIA ION graphics (first generation). The nettop comes with up to 4GB RAM and HDD with capacities up to 500GB. The ION GPU (NVIDA GeForce 9400M) allows playback of 1080p HD videos and the nettop comes with both VGA and HDMI outputs and S/PDIF for audio.

Asus Eee Box with ION 2, Atom D510 processor

Asus has released a successor of the Eee Box EB1012 – Eee Box EB1012P which packs-in the dual core Atom 1.6GHz D510 processor and the next generation ION processor. This nettop comes with 250GB hard disk, 2GB DDR2 RAM, S/PDIF (present on the back of the nettop), VGA port, 6x USB 2.0 ports, LAN, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi b/g/n. Thanks to the ION 2 (next generation ION), it is fully capable of playing 1080p videos via an HDMI adapter.

The difference between the Asus Eeebox EB1012U and Asus Eeebox EB1012 is presence of USB 3.0 ports on the latter.

Ablecom Dual-Core Nettop

Ablecom Technology will have on display this wicked-looking nettop which is powered by the dual-core Atom D510 processor and features GMA 3150 graphics, upto 2GB RAM, and a 2.5-inch HDD bay. Do not get fooled by its small frame. It packs 6 USB 2.0 ports, LAN port, 2 PS/2 connections, VGA port and earphone and microphone jack. It will be available with either Windows XP or Linux.

Zotac MAG ID110HD – Atom D510 and Next-gen ION

Folks at Anandtech have posted pictures of the Zotac MAG ID110-HD nettop which features Intel’s dual-core Atom D510 processor and the next-generation ION chipset. Here is a rundown of its specifications:

ION-powered Active Zepto Nettop

Zepto is an ION-powered nettop from the land of Italy. Underneath, you will find the Atom 330 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB (optional 320GB) hard disk. Like any other modern nettop, you get ION chipset, HDMI and DVI ports, DVD burner. We must say that we are impressed its specs as-well-as its sharp looks.

Note that RAM is upgradable to 2GB. There is no information on its price.

Asus EeeBox EB1501U and EB1012U make appearance on Asus’ website

Asus has now added the aforementioned Eee Boxes on their Global website. Both, EB1501U and EB1012U use Intel Atom dual core 330 processors (1.6GHz) and the fancy ION chipset. The EB1012U lacks built-in optical drive, being the only difference between the two.

There is no information on their price.

Minipishi ED510 – An Atom D510 nettop

Minipishi has unveiled a nettop that is powered by Atom D510 dual-core CPU. It is a bare-bone computer which is approximately the size of an A4-paper. There are two RAM slots and thus can have upto 4GB RAM. There is a SATA HDD bay which can accomodate any 2.5-inch hard disk drive out there. Other specs include 6x USB 2.9 ports, Ethernet, 2 PS/2 ports and eSATA port.

This Minipishi’s tiny wonder also comes with an year of warranty. Oh, it can also operate without a fan.

Acer AspireRevo Nettop upgraded to Windows 7

Acer AspireRevo nettop will now come with the loaded new Windows 7 OS and fitted with a dual-core Intel Atom 330 CPU. It is equipped with 2GB RAM and full ION graphics.

The FunTwist Fiono 330 nettop is a dual-core Atom based nettop that comes with Nvidia ION graphic chipset. There is an option to get one of these with no hard disk, RAM or OS. It is at 25,00 yen (US$ 276) in Japan.

You can configure it with upto 4GB RAM and choice of your hard disk.
