A new player has entered the ring to give the amazing Alienware M11x some competition. The Asus Lamborghini VX6 dons Lamborghini branding and a wicked design complimenting the Lamborghini cars. However, unlike Alienware M11x, it comes with a dual core Atom processor. Do not get us wrong, the dual core D525 processor packs a lot more punch than the Atom N450 and N475 processors, but it is no match for the Core i7 equipped Alienware M11x.
This Lambo is outfitted with a 12.1-inch display and next-generation ION graphics (ION2) and can be equipped with upto 4GB RAM. Also, Asus bundles it with Windows 7 Starter edition which is a slap on the Lamborghini range of notebooks. Price of the Asus VX6 is going to be $699

Fudzilla has received a tip dual-core Atom netbooks will be making their way to the market shelves later this year. This dual core chip is clocked at 1.5GHz clock speed and has a TDP of 8.5W which implies great battery life. In comparison, the Atom N475 which is a single core CPU has a TDP of 6.5W.

ASUS to release EEE 1201HA netbook: combo of dual core CPU and ION chipset
Asus EEE 1201HA with a dual-core Atom 330 and ION chipset is now confirmed. After the Windows 7 launch, Asus will release it in the netbook market. It has a 12-inch glare screen and is the first netbook to have a combo of dual-core Atom + ION chipset. The main issue that is of utmost concern is its battery life.
