PsiXpda UMPC – Another (expensive) MID-Phone
Meet the PsiXpda, a Windows XP running MID-Phone. Sharing a lot of similarity in terms of looks with the Digicube MID-Phone-50, the PsiXpda comes with an Atom Z510 processor (1.1GHz), built-in 3g and WiFi
It has a 4.8-inch display with WVGA resolution (800×480). It comes with 1GB of RAM which should run XP without any problems. It has two USB ports, out of which one is mini-USB.
There is a 1850mAh battery which should give you 2-4 hours of runtime. Weighing just 430gm, this should be very easy to carry around.
PsiXpda folks are promising non-XP installs too, including support for Android OS. We now know that Android OS runs pretty nicely, as Kamal loaded his EEE 701 with Android couple of days back and he gave it a thumbs up
Price: $830 (£500). High price, we know but how many similar devices do you see in the market?
