Dell Mini 10V Netbook ‘perfect’ for Twitter and Facebook: But How?
Somebody at Dell is (trying to) play with the innocent people. On the Dell Mini 10v’s page, Dell has a model which, according to Dell is ‘perfect for twittering’.
How can a netbook be perfect for twittering if it cannot boot up instantaneously? Netbooks, although are very portable devices, but they cannot replace mobile phones which are actually the perfect devices for this purpose. Dell Mini 10V is a fine netbook, but not perfect for social networking for sure.

Multi-touch Dell Mini 10 Netbook as Stantum Slate PC
A new slate PC by Stantum has been unveiled which is actually a 10.1-inch Dell Mini 10 presented as a slate PC. It has a multi-touch, resistive multi-touch display supports 10 points, finger and stylus input, runs Windows 7 as OS and consumes less power. Webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 1 USB port have been removed from the Slate PC which might limit its appeal. Who would buy a tablet without built-in WiFi radio in 2009? Not a brilliant idea for sure.
Nothing could be known about its price.
We sure that folks at Stantum must have taken some inspiration from the guy that modded his Dell Mini 9 into a tablet and later installed an accelerometer in it
Sprint to offer broardband-enabled netbooks in 5 cities
Sprint soon will be the latest US wireless carrier that will sell wireless broadband-enabled netbooks. The company has joined hands with Best Buy and HP this summer only, where they offered HP Mini 110 for $0.99 (for a contract of 2 year). But apparently, this offer is not valid now.
This program will be available starting from November 1 in Baltimore, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Phoenix and San Francisco. Holistic launch depends on the success of trial, which would be this year or the coming year.
Rumor has it that Dell Mini 10 will be offered to the customers for $199 ($100 mail-in rebate) and $60/month. Sounds rather expensive to us!
