Dell Adamo 11.6-inch netbook [Clone]

Dell Adamo surely has stunning design and at the same time, stunning price tag too. That was enough to lure the Chinese (clone) manufactures to make its clone and guess what, they actually made one. But, it of smaller size and sports an 11.6-inch display as opposed to the original one that comes with 13-inch display. In China, there have been at least four companies that are busily engrossed prepping these clones of Dell Adamo notebooks netbooks.

It is being said that there are two versions of these clones – one with pine trail guts (Atom N450) and another is CULV-powered (SU 2300)

Dell’s new ultra thin notebook ADAMO XPS pictures revealed

Few more teasers regarding the Dell’s upcoming Adamo XPS wafer thin notebook. It is being touted as the thinnest notebook in the market, measuring at just 9.9 mm. Dell is right now tight-lipped on its specs. Assumption is being made that it’s a 13-incher, and with rare design which folds into the chassis.

Nothing is known about its price, specs or availability dates.

Adamo netbook in the pipeline?

Adamo 13.4-inch notebook was launched yesterday by Dell, but a screenshot of the Dell’s support utility shows signs of the Adamo’s 9-inch version in the works.

If the 9-inch Adamo is really in the works, then will it also cost >$2000 just like the 13.4-inch Adamo? Is there a market for the premium netbooks? Well, after the immense success of the SONY VAIO P (see unboxing here), I cannot say ‘no’.
