Kinpo Electronics unveils a netbook with VIA NANO CPU

Kinpo Electronics has unveiled a new netbook that comes with a VIA NANO CPU. The netbook comes with an integrated 3G/WiMax chip. The Kinpo N03 is currently being launched in China as it only supports Chinese version of 3G (TD-SCDMA).

The Kinpo netbook is one of the few netbooks in the market that comes with a VIA NANO CPU instead of an Intel Atom CPU. The Kinpo N03 netbook has an 11.6-inch display sporting a 1366 x 768 pixel screen. Unlike most netbooks, you get choice of getting one with Windows vista or Windows XP. It comes equipped with a 1.3MP webcam.

For storage, you can get one with SSD or HDD and it weighs just 1.3kg. However, the battery life is not so good as it offers just 3 hours of runtime. This clearly shows that the VIA NANO CPU is nowhere as efficient as the Intel Atom CPU.

Its pricing information is not available at this time. But, we must say that we are impressed with this netbook as it has all the modern communication options.
