Folks over shanzai, noticed DianJiTek’s 11.6-inch DI 1201, which unmistakably looks inspired by Macbook Air – sporting a small umbrella logo on its outer lid. It has 11.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution, runs on Atom N270 clocked at 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Built-in antenna and packs a rather small 3200mAh 3-cell lithium-polymer battery.
It has a tasty chiclet style keyboard which should be great to type upon. Colors available are – black, silver, red or brown. Priced at about 360 USD, though bulk orders brings the price down to 290 USD.

A new clone of Apple Macbook Air by Shenzhen’s Tong Men Tech Co has been discovered, which will be launched in the (Chinese) market this week. Why this clone stands out among other clones of Macbook Air?
Not to be surprised, but this one sports removable battery and SIM card slot. It features:

Asus’ EeePC S101 clone named “Colorful S101 NewYork” has G-sensor! – useless addon
An oddly named netbook, “Colorful S101 NewYork” netbook has been unveiled by Shenzhen-based company called Seethru. This netbook resembles Asus EeePC S101 a lot. And not to forget, it has a useless G-sensor which can cause damage to the computer’s hard drive.
Talking about its specs, its has an 10.1-inch 1024×600 LED-backlit display, Intel Atom N270 processor @ 1.6GHZ, 160GB Hard disk,1GB RAM, Wi-Fi b/g and 3 USB 2.0 ports. Priced about $320.

Dell Latitude 2100 clone for Chinese Education Market
Folks over at shanzai have made a clone of Dell Latitude 2100 netbook that was introduced in US for the education sector. This cloned netbook will be offered to the kids in Chinese schools.
It comes in a very gaudy color and is priced at $250. It has an 11.1-inch 1366 x 768 display, Atom N280 processor and 160GB HDD. It even has a rugged rubbery exterior, carrying handle and teacher friendly network LED which will tell the teacher if you are doing online chatting or browsing. It will retail at $250

Meet ASUS EEE clone – has better keyboard, better processor
Now, who would have thought that a day would come that the netbook clones will get better than the original ones? Well, netbook manufactures at shanzai shall never be under-estimated. Their EEE 1002HA clone has VIA NANO CPU which is more powerful than the Atom N270 CPU which the EEE 1002HA comes with. The VIA NANO runs at a clock speed of 1.3GHz. MSI Wind U100 is one of the most liked netbook by the netbook manufactures who love making clones of netbooks. Here is another U100 clone, this time made by Wan Tat Technology. A lookalike of Gigabyte M1022 netbook by the name of NeonPC 101iW-N has been spotted in Japan. It is a typical 10-inch netbook, but has some popular anime character sticker (Nippobashi?) on its lid. This netbook is NOT cheap, costing $558 (49,980 yen).

HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition netbook cloned
The HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition netbook, one of the most expensive netbooks on the market when it was launched late last year costed somewhere around $700. HP had a simple reason for such high price:Red color and floral pattern on the lid of designer Vivienne Tam.
Although HP is no longer selling the Mini 1000 and the Vivienne Tam Edition, but you can get a cheap clone of it that is made by Qifang Electronics. The main differences lies in a 2.5 inch hard drive instead of a 1.8 inch HDD, and the clone costs about $300, or less than half the MSRP of the original.
