Core i7 930 2.88GHz to come next year in Q1
Soon, Core i7 930 will be used instead of Core i7 920 and accordingly it will have higher clock speed. The Core i7 930 is based on Nehalem 45nm quad-core which runs @ 2.88GHz, a non-Extreme Edition CPU which run on socket LGA 1366.4.8GT/sec being the QPI speed, has 8MB of cache.
Besides, Turbo engine itself overclock it to 3.06GHz and the CPU supports DDR3 800 or 1066. It is to be launched next year middle of Q1, and expected to sell for $284.
The launch time is middle of Q1 2010 and we assume that it should be selling for , as this is the current price of its Core i7 920 2.66GHz predecessor.

Some juicy details about the Acer Aspire One 532h Pinetrail based netbook. It is a netbook with 10-inch display with a marvelous 1280×720 resolution. It runs the Intel’s new Pineview N450 processor that runs at 1.66GHz clock speed. Another great news for the GMA 500 haters, it packs GMA 3150 graphic chipset which will replace both GMA 500 and GMA 945 that was prevalent in the N270/N280 basd netbooks.
It will ship with Windows 7 Starter operating system.
The Aspire One is currently listed at Lithuanian reseller site with a price tag of £297/$483/€328 but we suspect that the price might even be lower once this one is released and shows up at e-tail.
The Intel’s Pineview N450 CPU has integrated DDR2 memory controller and graphics core built into the CPU itself, rather than the chipset.
K.R.T. X9 runs Windows 7 – has multi-touch support
Many tablets which we have came across from Shenzhen either have Windows XP or run Windows CE. But as exceptions are always there, the K.R.T. X9 runs Windows 7 with full support for multi-touch. This convertible tablet has 10.2 inch display and measures 226.3mmx166.9mmx24.7mm. It weighs 2kg, which is a bit bulky if you ask us. Inside, it is a pure vanilla netbook: Atom N270 processor running at 1.6GHz clock speed, 1024×600 resolution, 1GB RAM, Intel 950 integrated Graphic chipset, 160GB Hard disk, Wi-Fi (b/g) and support for WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000 3G connectivity.
You can choose between 2800mAh or 3500mAh capacity battery which runs for upto 4 hours. And for this have to pay a hefty amount of $588 USD.
Intel to bring out Arrandale P4500 mobile Celeron next year
Intel is planning to release it’s first Arrandale-based mobile Celeron in Q2 2010. Penryn-based fastest Celeron is expected to be unveiled on January 17th 2010 for $86. T3300, the fastest mobile Celeron runs at 2.0GHz clock speed; has two cores; two threads, 1MB of cache and FSB 800MHz.It supports the Montevina platform.
P4500 is the Celeron to be launched in Q2 and is a 32nm CPU with two cores and two threads. It runs at 1.86GHz clock speed. It also comes with 2MB of cache. Although it supports Hyperthreading and Turbo but they have been disabled due to pricing issues.
New trendy netbook by DELL- Limited edition Deanne Cheuk Inspiron Mini
Dell following the same track as that of the Vivienne Tam editions by HP and now offering a limited edition design from Deanne Cheuk. It features Intel Atom Z530 that runs at 1.6GHz clock speed, 10-inch screen with1024×600 resolution, 1GB RAM, 160GB Hard disk, Intel GMA 500, wireless b/g, HDMI output and 3 cell Li-on battery. Runs Windows 7 Starter as OS. Only available at Best Buy for $379.99.
Malata Tablet Netbook
Chinese company, Malata has unveiled a new Tablet netbook, R108T. It has bog-standard netbook specs: 10.1-inch screen, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Intel Atom N270 which run at 1.6GHz clock speed, 1.3MP webcam. Only distinctive feature, with a doubt is its touchscreen swivel display.
It comes in a variety of colors: Ferrari Red, Piano Black, Coffee, Gold and Champagane. Price is not yet known
HP Pavilion DM3 CULV notebook gets new CPU – Core 2 Duo SU4100
Announced a month back, the HP Pavilion dm3 packs Core 2 Duo SU4100 that runs at 1.3GHz clock speed, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD and, oddly, a DVD burner. It packs in discrete graphics, Nvidia’s G105 with 512MB of memory which is huge as most CULV-based notebooks do not feature discrete graphics.
It roughly has a battery life of upto 8-hours. Impressive specs with a not-so-impressive price, €799.
Butterfly Touch Tablet Netbook by Packard Bell – same as Acer Aspire 1820P tablet
Packard Bell has launched Butterfly Touch Tablet netbook that is basically a rebranded Acer Aspire 1820P tablet netbook. We expect specs of it to remain same as the 1820P tablet which are:

- 11.6-inch display
- Touchscreen, multi-touch
- 1366×768 resolution
- 250GB HDD
- 2GB RAM (upto 4GB supported)

Acer Aspire D250 netbook with Windows 7 launched – gets resolution bump
Acer’s one of the best selling netbooks: Aspire D250 has now officially received the Windows 7 upgrade, at least in Japan. The Acer Aspire one D250 has an Intel Atom N280 @ clock speed of 1.6GHz. It is equipped with 10.1-inch screen that bears a high resolution: 1280×720. It has all the standard features that one would find in a normal netbook: built-in Bluetooth, WiFi (b/g/n) and exceptional battery life of 7.5 hours.

MID-560 Android MID
Meet the MID 560 MID, which runs Android OS. It runs on a Samsung 6410 processor that runs a clock speed of 533MHz. It has a WVGA 5-inch touchscreen and built in mobile TV, GPS and a browser that is based on Google Chrome Lite browser. It has other basic apps like Google Talk, google mail, push gmail and basic RSS and email apps as well.
It also functions as a PMP. It supports MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG and many other audio formats. For videos, you get support for H.264-WVGA, H.263-WVGA, DivX4/5-WVGA and Xvid.
