Chromium OS running on a Freescale Tablet
Freescale is showing-offing a prototype tablet running Chromium OS. Here is a video of it:

Here are few interesting pictures of how a Google Tablet would look like. We must say that we are impressed. According to the documentation given on the Chromium website, it will support devices that have displays between 5 to 10 inches.

HTC cancels Chrome Tablet plans
A couple of weeks back, we heard about HTC prepping chrome tablets that would be powered by the impressive Snapdragon 1GHz processor.
Unfortunately, those plans have been cancelled as HTC thinks that the market for the tablets is yet to get mature and wants to see the Apple iSlate prove itself first before they resume their Chrome Tablet plans. Also, the HTC has decided to focus on Android smartphones which are doing pretty well in the Smartphone market
HTC Chrome Tablet prototype appearing privately at CES 2010
Back in April 2009, we said that HTC was working on an Internet device that would NOT be running Windows Mobile or Android. Instead, it would be running on BREW MP – a mobile platform made by Qualcomm.
Looks like the BREW MP has been replaced by the upcoming Chromium OS. According to Smarthouse website, HTC is preparing several models of a touch tablet that would be running Chromium and Android OS.
These tablets will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that run at 1GHz clock speed
