VIA $100 Tablet
Forget $100 netbook (this and this) or $100 nettop – Via is all set to release a tablet that would cost you mere $100. The tablet is expected to be shipped to US in the H2 2010. VIA says they will be offering 5 models – cheapest to cost $100 and the top end to retail at $150. All the tablets will run Google Android OS.
Let us hope that they all run the latest Android 2.2 which brings a heap of improvements over the earlier versions including the ability to install apps on to the storage card.

Marvell is all set to introduce a tablet that will retail at mere $99. At $99, we certainly don’t expect macrocosm of technologies under its hood, but Marvell claims that its tablet will easily be able to playback those 1080p high-def videos without a hitch. This surely made us smile like a Cheshire cat
According to the reports, this Tablet PC (codenamed "Moby"), will be powered by Armada 600 ARM processor which provides hardware acceleration for not only 1080p videos, but also for Flash and 3D-gaming.
