Samsung PineTrail Netbooks coming in Q1 2010

Netbook World Summit was held on December 8, 2010 and Samsung Notebok Product Manager, Jaewoo Seo said that Samsung will be launching a complete new range of Pine Trail netbooks in January 2010. These Pine Trail netbooks will be showcased at CES 2010 that will be held in January in Las Vegas.

These netbooks will have thinner designs while making sure at the same time that the battery life is not affected. One of the new netbooks will also have a touchscreen display.

All of these netbooks will have instant-on OS too.

Plastic Logic QUE “e-book reader” – largest ebook display

Plastic Logic QUE is an eBook reader that will be unveiled at CES 2010 in January. It appears to have the largest E-lnk touchscreen display. You will be able to download ebooks from the Barnes and Noble store via its in-built WiFi module or 3G module. This unit measure 8.5 x 11-inch and just 0.3-inch thick. Battery life is not yet known although Plastic Logic says that it will give you days of battery life.
