The 13.3-inch Gigabyte Booktop M1305 can now have NVidia GeForce GT220 DDR3 1GB discrete graphic chipset solution. However, it is there in the dock and is not being offered as an addon for the netbook itself.

Lenovo IdeaPad U150 released officially in the US; Ideapad S10-2 in more colors

Lenovo IdeaPad U150 and more designer lids for the IdeaPad S10-2 have been released by Lenovo. Its prices starts at $585 and specs are pretty decent too:

  • 2 GB RAM (expandable to 4GB RAM)

  • 6-cell battery
  • 3G (optional)

The U150 is just 13.5mm thick and weighs only 1.35 kg, yet under the textured red or black cover lies a range of features designed to strike the right balance between mobility and functionality. The ultraportable U150 with an energy-efficient Intel Core 2 Duo processor offers up to 8GB DDR3 memory, 11.6in HD widescreen display and long battery life. The Active Protection System on the U150 helps protect the hard drive if the laptop is dropped or gets bumped. LG launches 13-inch CULV notebook

LG has finally jumped into the arena of CULV notebooks. Its first thin-and-light CULV notebook is based on Intel’s SU7300 processor and is just 25mm thick. It weighs 1.89kg, but then it is not a netbook and much bigger frame than a conventional nebtook. It has 4GB of DDR2 RAM, Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, 500GB hard drive and runs Windows 7 home premium.

It has a huge 8-cell battery, which LG claims will give you 10 hours of battery run time. Nothing is known about its pricing.

iiView A2 MacBook Air Clone to be released in US – costs $489

Back in the month of July, we mentioned about iiView A2, which is being touted as the MacBook Air clone. Good news is that it is now coming to US and will cost you $489.

It comes with an Atom N270 processor, 2GB RAM, Intel 945SE Chipset, 12.1” 1280 x 800 Display, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, 320GB HDD, 2x USB, mini-HDMI port and standard audio jacks. It is powered by a 6-Cell battery.

It will go on sale on the 22nd October as it runs Windows 7

It is retailing at $379.99 with free shipping. HP has promised to donate $1 out of every pink mini sold between 9/20/09 and 12/31/09.

Acer Timelines notebooks now with Celeron based CULV processors – Acer Timeline 3410T and Timeline 5410T

Acer’s Timeline 3410T is slowly appearing in retail shops along with its bigger brother 15-inch, the 5410T. Both the models use Intel’s 1.2GHz Celeron 723, the cheapest and slowest CULV processor around. Acer is doing this bring the prices of its CULV notebooks down. The 3410T is being sold for just €426 and Timeline 5410T for €475.

Prices are comparatively lower than some netbooks too because of the cheap CPU. The Timeline 3410T is actually not a bad deal at all: 3GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, 6-cell battery, n-wireless and HDMI
