Dell 13z goes on sale in Australia – Expensive!
Dell has launched 13z in Australia for $1,112 (AU$1,199). This CULV notebook has 1.3GHz SU7300 Core 2 Duo processor with Intel integrated 4500MHD graphics, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB drive, and an LED-backlit screen.

Viewsonic VNB101 Netbook now available in Australia
We mentioned about the Viewsonic VNB101 netbook in the month of July. This machine is soon going to be there in Australia next month.
The VNB101 boasts of these specs – Intel Atom N280 CPU, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 10.2-inch display, 0.3 webcam, memory card reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2 USB ports and a Li-Polymer battery.
This one is quite sleek as it is just 25.4mm thick. What is the point of being so thin when it is able to give you mere 2.5 hours of battery life? It will be available in 3 colors: Black, Champagne and Red.
Asus Eee PC 1002H now in available Australia
The new Asus Eee PC 1002H netbook is now in stores in Australia. The 10-inch widescreen model is similar to the 1002HA. However, it features a chiclet keyboard and an Intel Atom N280 processor. Thus, supporting a battery life of about 4 to 6 hours. It is coming with a price tag of 769 – 879 AUD.
Kamal reviewed the EEE 1000HE a couple of weeks back and he was not so much pleased with the chiclet keyboard. I’m yet to try one of these though.
Dell Mini 10 3G version now available in China
Dell has shaked hands with the China Mobile to let the users enjoy 3G services on the go. Not only China Mobile, Dell has teamed up with other global telecom providers including Vodafone in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, AT&T in the US, M1 and Starhub in Singapore, and Maxis in Malaysia.
It will retailed at $575 in China.
