Mouse Computer Japan has rolled-out the Luvbook M-series netbooks. These netbooks sport an impressive 1280 x 720 10-inch screen that display a lot more data at a time compared to the WSVGA 1024×600 pixel display that are the most common on netbooks. The basic model has typical netbook specs, but the top model comes with 2GB RAM, 320GB hard drive and Windows 7 OS. If you love solid state drives, there is an option to equip your netbook with a 40GB SSD for an extra hundred dollars. The basic model will cost you 300 dollars and the top model retails at $400. Other specs include 2x USB 2.0 ports, LAN, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 1.3MP webcam and a small 3-cell battery (~3 hours runtime)

FIC Tycoon TVB00 Slate Tablet

FIC has launched a new Slate called TVB00. This features a 10.1-inch touchscreen with a speaker grill just beneath the display. Atom N450 powers this tablet and it runs Windows 7. Beneath, you will find a 1.8-inch HDD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI port, and a Broadcom Crystal HD chip that would allow playback of the 1080p videos. The tablet weighs in at 850gm and will be making its debut later this year.

MSI has launched an updated version of MSI U160 netbook called the U160DX. The updated netbook comes with an Atom N455 processor instead of Atom N450, which brings-in DDR3 RAM support. There are no physical changes on the outside.

Boring, if you ask us as DDR3 is not going to bring any noticeable change in the performance of any Atom-powered netbooks.

Someone at Eeeuser forum has been able to overclock his Asus T101MT tablet to over 2GHz (2072MHz to be exact). Atom N450 officially is stated to run at 1.66GHz clock speed, but one can overclock it using SetFSB.

MSI is planning to introduce a new pine trail netbook next month at Computex in Taiwan, Wind U140 netbook. Not many details are available right now, but we do know that it will be powered by the Atom N450 processor along with a 10.1-inch display. The U140 netbook will be equipped with a 3-cell battery and weigh 2.6 pounds.

There will also be a model with built-in WiMax radio.

Dell Adamo surely has stunning design and at the same time, stunning price tag too. That was enough to lure the Chinese (clone) manufactures to make its clone and guess what, they actually made one. But, it of smaller size and sports an 11.6-inch display as opposed to the original one that comes with 13-inch display. In China, there have been at least four companies that are busily engrossed prepping these clones of Dell Adamo notebooks netbooks.

It is being said that there are two versions of these clones – one with pine trail guts (Atom N450) and another is CULV-powered (SU 2300)
