Asus Eee T91MT overclocked

Asus T91MT comes with a rather underpowered Atom Z520 1.3GHz processor, which yields not-so-gratifying performance. But, it is overclockable and can be forced to run faster. Here are the steps on how to do it:

1) Download SetFSB

2) Disable SuperHybridEngine and set Windows power scheme to Maximum Performance / Always on.

3) Run SetFSB, select ICS9LPR427CGLF (a little more than half-way down the list), click Get FSB button, play with settings.

4) Download and run wPrime, post results along with clock speed achieved.

You can overclock it upto 1.8GHz

Confirmed: Asus Eee PC T91MT with TV Tuner

It is now confirmed that EEE T91MT with TV Tuner is in the works. Last month, we spotted a manual where we found traces of upcoming TV Tuner version of the EEE T91MT. Now that Asus has posted a TV Tuner driver for its multi-touch convertible tablet on their website, it is pretty much confirmed that it will be launched soon.

ASUS EEE T91MT has palm rejection feature!

ASUS EEE T91MT one more exiting feature: Palm Rejection. This feature is hidden inside Touch Gate’s tools (IntelliWrite). You can two options to choose from:

• Pen Mode
• Finger Mode

This feature only works with Journal and Sticky Notes. Sadly, this feature is not available in all the apps which means that in those apps, you will be a bit more careful more writing or scribling anything as Palm Rejection feature won’t be active in those apps.

ASUS Eee PC T91MT available for pre-order at Amazon

Multi-touch tablet netbook, the 8.9-inch ASUS Eee PC T91MT is now up at Amazon.com for pre-order. It’s being offered at a hefty price tag of $549. With Windows 7 Home Premium as OS, only white model is currently available. The only difference compared to EEE T91 that we see that the RAM and SSD capacity has been doubled (32GB SSD, 2GB RAM versus 16GB SSD, 1GB RAM as in Windows XP version)
