EeePad is the Asus Android Tablet
Asus is likely going to dump the Windows 7 for their EeePad (EP101TC) tablet for the Google Android OS. The tablet sports 10-inch display and was spotted at the Computex 2010.
Then, the Asus Eee Pad was running Windows 7 OS, but Asus probably got more impressed with the upcoming Android 3.0 – the version the tablet is likely going to run on when it debuts
Asus Eee Pad shows-up in Poland
Folks at chip TV have got hold of the new Asus Eee Pad EP121. It comes with 12-inch display, Core2Duo processor and runs Windows 7 OS. Tablet is a about the size of JooJoo and can be turned into a normal netbook when used with its dock.

Asus Eee Pad coming in July
Asus’ chairman, Jerry Sheh has announced that the company will be bringing its much-anticipated Eee Pad in the month of July. Also, Asus will be showing-off its Pad at the Computex 2010 (June 1-5).
For some grotesque reason, Asus says that Eee Pad will be competing with Apple iPad and they stressed on the fact that the Eee Pad sports features not found on the iPad such as USB port, webcam and Flash. The Eee Pad is slated to be priced somewhere between $480-510 after bundling with cellular network telecom services.
Commentary – Flash on ARM-based devices has never ran like a duck soup and story will be no different for the Eee Pad. Even after months and months of waiting, the Eee Pad is yet to hit the market.


Asus Tablet coming in June!
Asus’ manufacture, Pegatron will be coming with its ‘killer product’ in the month June. The Asus tablet will be powered by an ARM processor and will run on Google Android/Chromium platform.
There will also be a model that will run Windows.

The Pegatron tablet was unveiled at CES 2010 that is powered by the Atom N450 processor. This slate PC features a multi-touch 11.6-inch display, 1GB RAM and 32GB of solid state goodness. There are two USB ports on its left side sitting along with the power port. There are no ports at all on the right side of it.
It even packs in an HDMI port and runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
