AMD to release two six-cores in Q2 2010
As published on fudzilla, AMD will be launching two six-core desktop CPUs in the new year, which should be Q2 2010. Thuban is the codename for six-core 45nm which has 6MB L3 cache, C-state performance boost as well as DDR3 1333MHz support. It supports AM3 motherboards and it should work in most existing models.

AMD Thuban
AMD’s desktop creation, codenamed Thuban, challenges Intel’s Gulftown six-core. AMD’s Thuban is planned for Q2 2010 and confirmation has been made that this is a six core 45nm CPU with DDR3 1333 support in AM3 motherboards. Comes with 6MB cache.
