Three Arrandale 32nm to hit the market on 3rd January
Intel has in mind to launch 3 processors based on Arrandale Core i5 and Core i7 next year in the month of January. The cheapest of all Core i5 520M to have two cores and four threads at a base frequency of 2.4GHz which will support Turbo Mode and can run even faster. It will have 3MB of cache and to be retailed at $225.
While the second is Core i5 540M with two cores, four threads, supporting the Turbo Mode. It features 3MB of L2 cache, a 2.53GHz frequency to be retailed for $257.
While the last is Core i7 620M which has two cores and four thread. This one features 4MB of cache and is clocked at a base frequency of 2.66GHz. This one supports Turbo Mode. To be retailed for $332 in quantities of 1,000,
All the chips have TDP ratings (including the graphics core) ending at 35W.

Thin Adamo XPS launched by Dell
Adamo XPS, an 13-incher just 9.9mm thick is the thinnest notebook in the market. Sporting very smart and stylish looks and costing $1799, this is something you will love to flaunt around.
The Adamo XPS has a Intel Core 2 Duo processor that runs at 1.4GHz, GS45 chipset, 4GB of DDR3 and a 128GB SSD. No matter how nice it looks, the biggest question is: will its design allow the user to use it on his lap?
Gateway EC1803h netbook lands in Canada – Rebranded Acer Aspire 1810T
Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T is being shipped as Acer Aspire 1410 netbook in the US. Gateway EC1803h, seemingly re-branded version of the same netbook packs in a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 processor and GMA 4500 graphics, comes with 3GB of RAM, a 250 HDD and has got a 6-cell battery. No information if it will ever make its debut in the US.
So, compared to the standard netbooks, this is basically a little monster as it has a more powerful processor, more RAM and bigger hard disk. Is there anything to hate about this netbook? Folks, it runs Vista.
