LG X13 netbook passes through FCC – soon to be launched in US
The LG X13 netbook is very soon going to make its debut in US as it has been recently spotted on FCC’s website. Compared to LG X120, it appears to have wider body, but there is no 3G in this netbook. This means that you have to buy yourself an external USB dongle to get yourself on 3G network.
The LG X13 comes with the usual specs: Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard disk etc.

F88 Netbook – packed with VIA Nano CPU, VX855 chipset & HDMI port!
From outside, the F88 netbook looks a lot like the Asus EEE PC 1002HA, but from inside, it is quite different. It uses a VIA Nano CPU (instead of an Atom processor) and VX855 chipset. It also comes equipped with an HDMI port which is capable of outputting HD video, which is also absent in most of the netbooks. Other than that, it comes with 802.11b/g/n Wifi, a 1.3MP webcam and Bluetooth (optional) and 3G (optional).

OS X can now be installed in Sony Vaio P – WiFi, Ethernet does not work though
Although the self-proclaimed ‘notebook’, the Sony Vaio P runs Vista pretty poorly, but some crazy folks have installed Mac OS X on this little baby! They claim that the Mac runs faster than Vista. Unfortunately, they were not able to get the Wi-Fi, Ethernet and 3G working under OS x. Neither could 3D games or apps run due to missing video chip drivers.
We suggest you keep an eye here as we will post all forthcoming updates regarding Mac OS on a VAIO P.

Macbook Air 3G a netbook?
According to various news sources, the new Apple Macbook Air with built-in 3G is on the way. Oddly, instead of being more expensive than the existing ones, most of the sources claim that it will be cheaper than the current models. The cost of the rumored Air is supposed to be in-between $1300-$1500, which could put it in the category of high-end netbooks.
The only way of cutting the price by $400 or so is by using a cheaper processor. Will it be an Intel Atom?

AT&T Acer Aspire One netbook with built-in 3G now just $80
Whenever netbooks or mobile phones are bundled with subsidized plans, the prices are greatly reduced. Now, the Acer Aspire One netbook, which was the best seller last year is now available from AT&T at just $80.
This is a pretty good deal for a netbook that still sports pretty impressive specifications:
- Atom N270 processor
- 120GB HDD
- 1GB RAM
- Windows XP home
- 8.9-inch screen
- 1024 x 600 display
However, it comes with just 3-cell battery which will be able to give you just 2 hours of battery life
Apple Netbooks coming soon? – Foxconn to build Apple netbook
Steve Jobs once said “We don’t know how to make a $500 computer that’s not a piece of junk.” This statement was not much liked by a lot of netbook users as we ourselves know how capable these machines are. The latest rumors point towards Foxconn Electronics, which is supposed to make the Apple’s first netbook. Most of the rumors point towards a device having 10-inch screen and running Mac OS X. It is also supposed to have WiFi and built in 3G to use the cellular networks for Internet surfing.
According to About.com, there may be two ways in which the Apple Netbook may be retailed:

EEE PC T91 for just $549! – ASUS to redefine the price range of Tablets?
Looks like ASUS is really going to make the tablets finally popular among the consumers. Let’s face it, tablets have always been confined to the executives and businessmen. The main reason that the tablets were not received nicely in the consumer market was due to high ‘price’. But, with the $549 price tag, ASUS has hit the sweet spot between functionality and price.
Also, we have heard that ASUS has added few really exciting utilities that are very finger friendly. This is already looking like a winner to me.
