Sprint is now offering you a netbook for $0.99, which is basically a rebranded HP Mini 1000 netbook under the name of Compaq 1040DX. The only difference from the standard model is the use of EVDO module in the Sprint netbook.

There is catch though. You have enroll yourself under a TWO YEAR CONTRACT that will cost you $60 per month.
