MSI has not yet officially launched the Windpad 100w on the US shores as yet but it was said that the company is selling the 10 inch tablet anyway. Simply Electronics, a retailer sources its selections to US, Europe and Asia. However, you have to pay a hefty price in order to be able to use the Windpad and be the first one to get in the US. The retailed price is at $710 but the good news is free delivery. The screen size of the Windpad 100w is 10.1 with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. It has a capacitive display. It uses the Intel Atom Z530. The Windpad 100w boasts of a 2GB RAM and hard disk capacity of 32GB and it runs on Windows 7. Included in the specs are 2 cameras at the front and rear, the ambient light sensor and G Sensor, SD Card Reader, HDMI output and a USB 2.0 port. In the recent CES, some were able to get the chance to see the prototype of the Windpad 100w and though it has a pretty solid build, it is not the most startling thing. However, it has a functional interface so it might offer something nice that it is already being sold.
