Dell Streak 10 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy 10.1
Yesterday we took a closer look at the Dell Streak 10 Pro. Engadget has compared the Dell Streak 10 Pro to the Samsung Galaxy 10.1. It is widely known that the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 is one of the tablet leaders so let’s see how the Dell Streak 10 Pro will fare in this showdown.
There are a lot of similarities. They are both 10-inch Android 3.1 tablets. They have the same resolution on their displays. Same memory and storage. To start with the differences let us take a look at the obvious, size and feel. Enjoy the photos!
As you can clearly see from the pics Samsung Galaxy 10.1 is much thinner than the Dell Streak 10 Pro. The Galaxy also looks and feels more sophisticated. The finishes are just nicer.
The camera is a bit better on the Streak 10 Pro, which boasts 5MP, whereas the Galaxy Tab’s rear facing camera only offers 3MP.
Pricewise, the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 WiFi version costs $499 whereas the Dell Streak 10 Pro after conversion to US$ comes out at about $465. Dell offers a free 2GB of cloud storage with the purchase of Pro.
There is no SD card slot for extra storage on the Galaxy, but the Streak Pro offers SDHC of up to 32GB of extra storage.
