  • Sharebar

Pandigital wants to give its Novel Tablet a second try and that is why they have announced an improved version that boasts a black chassis and B&N eBookstore app. Featuring 2GB of internal storage, it comes outfitted with a 7-inch display and is lighter than its predecessor.

The display packs 800×600 pixels and accepts touchscreen gestures. The screen is resistive and you can use a stylus to select objects on the display. Pandigitial is bundling a web-browser too which is great as the unit comes with Wi-Fi radio. There is even an SDHC card reader with which you can increase the storage by 32GB. MSRP of the updated Novel Tablet is 200 dollars (the first gen was launched with a 260 dollar price tag).
