Notion Ink Adam Tablet gets 15 hours of battery life
Rohan Shravan was in news headlines when he said that the Notion Ink Adam tablet will work 15 hours on a single charge. This means it provides better battery than any other tablet in the market and even Apple iPad. He has come out with a clarification that it is the way he chose to use the tablet. If you overwork your CPU, you can drain the battery in just 6 hours.
If you increase the screen resolution and volume, your battery life will be 6 hours. Also if you play videos on YouTube and stream 3D maps, you will drain the battery quicker. Also playing 3D games with a camera and a wireless connection also adversely affects battery life.
This is not evidence to say that you cannot get 15 hours of battery life. But Notion Ink cannot guarantee that. If you need longer battery life you must buy a machine that has Qi display, you must use earphones as far as possible and keep the volume and brightness low.
What you perceive is that the battery life depends on what you do with a computer just like with a smart phone but a range of 6 to 15 hours is a wider range than what we have heard.
