Motorola Xoom WiFi for $499

Motorola Xoom has been released as the first Honeycomb tablet and to this date is the most expensive one. Reviews were grand but the price would always be the thorn. In the major stores today Motorola Xoom Tablet still costs you $599. 3G model will cost you $799. Comparable Asus Eee Pad Transformerfor example, only costs $399 and specs are in very similar. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1albeit with 16GB of storage costs $499.

Well, Motorola finally agreed to drop the price of Xoom to $499. You can order it directly from Motorola. What you’ll get is Android Honeycomb Motorola XOOM tablet, with 32GB of storage and speedy 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core chip. Xoom has 24Whr battery, 2 megapixel camera in the fron and 5 megapixel rear facing camera with auto focus and an LED flash. For connectivity you’ll get 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1. Display is 10.1 inch with 1280 x 800 resolution. Motorola XOOM Tablet 3Gmodel is still being sold for $799.
