Lenovo IdeaPad K1 launch

Lenovo IdeaPad K1 will launch tomorrow, July 20th. Lenovo IdeaPad K1 is an Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet with signature square widget you see in the middle of the screen called Lucky Launcher Widget.

IdeaPad K1 is an 10.1 inch tablet with screen resolution of 1280×800. It is run by 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 chip, has 1GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. IdeaPad K1 has 2 cameras, 2 megapixel webcam and 5 megapixel camera. It closely resembles Lenovo LePad we found in China. IdeaPad K1 measures 10.4″ x 7.4″ x 0.5″ and weighs 1.65 pounds. Battery is particularly strong offering 10 hours on single charge. The IdeaPad K1 hitting US stores tomorrow will start at $499.99 in major retailers.

There is a rumor going around that IdeaPad K1 will have a keyboard dock. Soon to be released ThinkPad tablets by Lenovo will reportedly also have a docking station and stylus. Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet is a premium enterprise tablet with added business features
