New chipset on HTC, Motorola and Asus
Tegra 2 chip is a dual core processor made by NVIDIA. This chip would enable tablets to playback HD video, handling 3D video acceleration. We could say that this is big news for NVIDIA as they hadn’t been able to land a contract with any big size company thus far. DigiTimes also reports that Asus will have a device with a Tegra processor. We’re of course just speculating here as unconfirmed rumors go, but if true, big up to NVIDIA for doing a great job.
