iPad vs Galaxy Tab
Samsung has finally released the Galaxy Tab tablet and we think it can take on the Apple in the tablet space. This tablet runs the Google Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS and has a number of specs comparable to the iPad.
First, let’s talk about the display size. The Galaxy Tab has a 7-inch LCD screen with 1024×600 pixels. On the other hand, the iPad has a 9.7-inch display with 1024×768 pixels. Even though the iPad packs slightly more pixels, the pixel density on the Galaxy Tab is better due to the smaller screen size.
Galaxy Tab run on an ARM Cortex A8 processor whereas the iPad runs on Apple A4 1GHz processor. To be honest, we were quite surprised to see that Samsung did not equip it with the Hummingbird processor which is also being used in the popular Galaxy S Smartphone.
Galaxy Tab comes with a phone app. There is no phone app on the iPad. However, you will need to use the built-in speakerphone or connect a headset to use the phone function on the Tab.
iPad has no built-in camera. On the Galaxy Tab, you will find not one but two cameras. There is a 3MP camera with flash and auto-focus on its back. On the front, there is a 1.3MP camera that can be used for video-chats.
Another unique feature of the Galaxy tab is the access to the Android Market. European Galaxy Tab will also have a specialized app store meant for the tablet.
The Galaxy Tab also has flash support inside the browser, thanks to Android 2.2 OS. iPad does not supports flash inside the Safari Mobile web-browser. Yes, the hack exits to run Flash, but it is not supported by Apple. The Tab has 32GB of internal flash storage expandable via memory cards. You cannot increase the storage on an iPad.
The Tab is lighter too. It weighs mere 380gm vs 680gm (iPad).

the weight is definitely a big advantage
I prefer ipad. Galaxy Tab is just a phone,but ipad not only a big ipod touch, but also a computer. It has almost completely replaced my personal computer. For the things I do… Is is perfect! Much nicer than any CPU I have ever owned. All my other computers would do a lot of things I would never use it for, and do it painfully in the process (slow, buggy, etc.). When you get down to what you do most on you personal computer… the iPad does almost all of the things an average user needs, and with a much much nicer U/I. Easy of use, fast, and efficient. The other computer manufacturers could learn a thing or two from this, but even if they do… they will probably screw-up the one they come out with by adding all the crap back in again. Ugggggg!!!!
I am sticking with my iPad. I think other will do the same once they try it and realize it is the perfect personal computer :-)

Ipad sux i got ipad 1and 2 it both crap waste of money i bought galaxy tab 10.1 it so much better and stupid apple sued samsung for using their technology bullshit , its like microsoft can say you copied our techonlogy stupid apple and i would never support apple product
