Dell’s leaked roadmap on upcoming tablets

  • Sharebar

Dell has already revealed in the past that it is planning on releasing a number of tablets in 2011 that includes those that use the Windows 7 and Android OS. The Android Central was able to acquire information regarding the tablets the company is planning to offer in the next 2 years. The very first for 2011 is due on April and runs on Android 3.0. It is a 10 inch tablet that has the code name of Gallo. Another one is a 7 inch tablet that uses the Honeycomb and it is still unknown if it is a version of Streak but in the roadmap, it is called Sterling. Rosemount is the codename for a 10 inch tablet that will be running on Windows 7 with a display of 1366×768 pixels.

When you move latter to 2011, you will see really more interesting stuff coming ahead. There is a 10 inch tablet that Dell is designing with handwriting recognition and another set of Android Honeycomb tablets in 5 and 10 inches. It won’t be a surprise if dual and quad core processors come up. You have to bear in mind that this is just a leaked page. There is nothing certain about it and it can change direction depending on the market.
