BenQ To Launch Android Tablet
The Android Bug has bit BenQ and has stated that they will be developing a new tablet that utilizes the Android technology. The brand normally does not cater to the US market but can be bought in China and Taiwan. According to PC World, the brand will be releasing the tablets in the said countries in the early part of 2011. this will be called the R100 tablet and will be around 10.1 inches with a 1026×600 screen and a Samsung Processor based on ARM. The storage capacity was said to be at 8GB with HDMI, Wi Fi, Bluetooth and a port for Mini USB. This will be marketed as a souped up form of an E-Reader that functions first as a reader but with other options.
