Unlike Apple, Sony releases pile of notebooks in a year and their newest offering is the Vaio S11 which is being touted as a powerful and high performance laptop. Powered by Intel Core i3-330M Processor, it features 320GB hard disk drive, 4GB RAM, and runs Windows 7 professional 64-bit edition. This suave machine sports a 13.3-inch display with 1366×768 resolution like most of the modern notebooks out there.

According to this review by zol, the unit weighs 1.9kg but if you add-in the power adapter to the mix, the total weight increases to 2.35kg. Sony has packed the unit with power saving measure like the DVD drive is automatically shut-off after a certain time duration. Perhaps that is the reason, you will be able to squeeze out more than 5 hours under power-saving mode.
