According to the latest reports, Apple is about to launch an update to the iPhone that will sport the super high resolution 960×640 display. Not only that it will have a much much faster CPU (A4); front-facing camera for video calls. The new iPhone HD will be launched in the month of June.
It will also run the latest iPhone 4.0 OS that will support multitasking, which one of the very few shortcomings of the current generation of iPhone OS. Even till now, it is very tough to jailbreak iPhone as it requires root access.
