Acer Aspire 532H

  • Sharebar

Acer Aspire 532H is a pine trail netbook that is powered by Atom N450 processor. In fact, it is the first Acer netbook that is powered by the next generation Atom processor. It comes with GMA 1350 graphic chipset which now replaces the aging GMA 945 chipset that was found in first generation Atom netbooks.

Running Windows 7 Starter, it has 1GB RAM, 160GB hard disk and a 4400mAh battery. Priced very attractively at $299, this should give the Asus 1005PE, a Pine Trail Asus netbook a run for money which retails at $380.

The Aspire 532H has 10.1-inch display with 1366×768 resolution. For those who do not know, this is the same resolution sported by the 11.6-incher, Aspire 751H nebtook that was released way back in June 2009 and ran the comparatively slower Atom Z520 processor (1.33GHz).

The keyboard is big and spacious, just like the one found on the Acer Aspire 751H and its touchpad supports multi-touch. Being only an inch thick, it is able to yield upto 8 hours of run time from the standard battery and upto 10 hours from its high density battery that is sold separately.

You get the usual WiFi b/g/n and LAN port for Ethernet connectivity. And of course, there is usual netbook standard stuff packed too – multi-card-reader built in, 3 USB 2.0 ports, microphone and 2 stereo speakers

Weighing modestly at 1.25kg with its 6-cell battery, it is available in Blue, Red and Silver colors
