PS 4 to record your play
New PS4 will be able to record up to 15 minutes of play.
In new York Sony event is planned called “See the Future” for February 20th. Sony has confirmed that new Sony PlayStation 4 will be introduced at this time. Nothing further has been confirmed by Sony, but sources in the supply chain revealed to edge online that new controller is in pipeline. It is to be the same size as the current DualShock, but it has been redesigned to include a touchpad. The touchpad is to replace the existing Start, Select, and PS buttons.
New DVR-like recording will not cause any laggs to the processing speeds of the device. Videos can be stored and edited. Screenshots of accomplishments can be shared online via new Share button. Other improvements like new PlayStation Eye are to be announced at the New York event. There is no word on availability just yet, but it should not be too long after the launch. PS 4 will not be seen in Europe for some time, due to distribution complexities. Sony plans to have it launched in Europe in early 2014.
Sony faces fierce competition from upcoming Xbox 720 also referred to as X-Surface, last year’s Wii U and increasing popularity of gaming tablets as well.
