LG X3 – Preview
Photos of a new LG smartphone, codenamed the X3, have surfaced, together with a list of eye-watering specs. Pocket-Now claims the X3 will sport a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU and a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 display.
Further claims are that the LG X3 will run Android Ice Cream Sandwich and carry an 8MP rear-facing camera with a 1.3MP camera on the front. X3 will measure under 9mm at its widest point, and in case that screen and processor suggest a battery life of less than a full day, LG is allegedly planning to ship the X3 with a hefty 2000mAh battery.
And in case anyone’s wondering if there’s anything this new wonder-phone can’t do, it will feature a 4G radio and an NFC chip. The handset will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress for a release in Q2 2012.
