Verizon is finally shipping preorders of Samsung Galaxy Note II today. The new phablet is now available in stores as well as online.
T-mobile had Note II smartphone/tablets in stock for a month already. gadAT&T and Sprint also carry Note II.
Note II features newest Android 4.1 Jelly bean operating system. It has a large 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive screen with 1280 x 720 resolution and 267 ppi pixel density. Samsung Note II is run by 1.6Ghz quad-core Exynos 4112 processor with Mali-400MP graphics, 2GB RAM. Phablet features 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash capable of 1080p videos on the rear side, and also a 1.9MP HD camera on front. 3,100mAh battery guarantees 16 hours on a charge on 3G.
Digitizer S-Pen along with Samsung’s suite of stylus-optimized apps are part of this great package. Digitizing pen features Easy Clip capability to crop images and various software tweaks to compliment new S Pen like S Planner, and alarm when S Pen is misplaced. Quick Commands can be added to the new stylus by a user.
Verizon sells Note II with 2 year contract for $299. Verizon of course has the best coverage in United States, but if you already are AT&T’s customer, you’ll be happy to know that you can get the same great Note II smartphone for a lot less. If you ar eligible for an upgrade as AT&T customer, then your new Samsung Note II will cost you full $100 less. Also Amazon Wireless is offering Note II on a two year contract through AT&T for $175. Samsung has sold 5 million Note II smartphones already and at AT&T, should you be interested in getting a better deal, Note II is backordered. It should ship in two weeks though.
