ViewSonic Viewpad 7 review

  • Sharebar

There are many Android tablets available now but sadly a number of them do not keep up with the demands. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is the only one capable of really competing with iPad. So here we are with the ViewSonic Viewpad 7. How does it compare? The good things about this device are that you can access the Android market easily and you can connect via AT&T or T-Mobile. It has great sound system and it also has good battery life and it has an added carrying case. The bad news is that it does not compare as yet with Galaxy since it has a slower processor and the screen is quite low res. The camera up front does not work on some apps and the 3G data has some issues. Lastly, it picks up the finger prints easily.

So how does it compare with some test results? The battery life lasts at least 7 and half hours which means longer fun and web experience on your part. Compared to the Apple iPad 3G and the Galaxy Tab (Verizon), it is pretty good but still can benefit from a little bit of upgrade. It requires some updating on some aspects to make it a worthy competitor to the Galaxy Tab and Apple iPad. This is certainly something you have to watch out for.
