Lenovo Thinkpad t510

If you are thinking of a device that is durable, with good battery power and has nice business capacity, then Lenovo Thinkpad t510 is a great device to have. The build of this model is very solid with a display that offers excellent HD imagery. The battery life can withstand up to 8 hours of power. The design is pretty straightforward and very simple with a matte black outer cover with a rubbery texture so when you hold on to the outside, it will not slip. When it comes to the resolution, the 1600×900 HD capacity of the device is very powerful and amazing with an anti-glare feature. This is an above average screen so aside from work, you can enjoy watching movies and playing some computer games with amazing brilliance. NVIDIA NVS 3100M dedicated graphics with 512MB DDR3 allow for high definition videos or games to be played smoothly.

When it comes to the thermal performance and battery life, Lenovo Thinkpad t510 performs very well. Since the t510 has switchable graphics, it is capable of keeping good temperature readings across. The fan was not very noisy and even if the device is running full power, the fan is not really emitting too much noise, just a little whisper. For the battery life, the Lenovo packs a really good punch with brilliant battery life that beats other 15.6 inch devices.

Lenovo Thinkpad t510 is run by Intel Core i5-560M (2.66GHz, 3MB cache) processor. Memory is sufficient at 4GB DDR3 RAM (2GB + 2GB). It weighs 6.22 pounds.

The T510 includes three USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA/USB combo port, FireWire 400, VGA and DisplayPort-out, Ethernet, a modem jack, and a headset port. Expansion slots include an ExpressCard/34 slot and a SDHC-card reader. On the right side there is a slot for Kensington MicroSaver DS Lock.

Bottom of Lenovo Thinkpad t510 features two access panels for the system memory and hard drive. This makes it really easy to upgrade either of the two. There are 2 memory slots, but only one of them is accessible through this access panel. Should you want to upgrade the other one as well you’d need to open the up the notebook back cover.
