Microsoft PowerPoint much like the entire Office 2013 suite has been redesigned and optimized for use on tablets and smartphones. Tap, drag, pinch-to-zoom and all those funky moves you do with your fingers can now be used to create a powerful business presentation using PowerPoint 2013.
Among new features let us mention new comment feature. When you work with few people on the same presentation, or perhaps your client, you can use comments to ask questions and receive feedback on the progress. Just click on ‘View’ and ‘Notes’ and empty field will show up on the bottom of your editing view. Presenter View (Alt+FI) allows you to see your notes when presenting.
When starting out a project, you’re offered few options. You can create a blank presentation as in older versions, but you can also choose from a theme, a template, or other presentations you had created in past.
Slides can be categorized and hidden when you do not want to show them. Inserting of pictures is as simple as clicking on ‘Insert button’ which allows you to browse the net for just the right pic. The new picture added can of course be sized and placed in the correct location.
Timer appearing on the top left can be paused. This lets you know just how long the presentation you have created takes, so you know whether to add more content or trim things down a bit.
There are various tools available on the bottom left. See-all-slides function is particularly useful when you want to open a specific slide for corrections. A highlighter, zooming function are self-explanatory. The Block/Unblock function will enable the slide being seen or hidden when presenting.
The new PowerPoint 2013 has many new and practical tools to make your designing easier. If however you’re not up to the challenge, opt in for top notch PowerPoint designers to have the work done for you by professionals.
