Nokia Lumia 720
Nokia Lumia 720 features decent specs to appeal to young audience. 6.7MP low light camera, 7GB of SkyDrive storage, 4.3-inch LCD display, wireless charging and all for about 249 Euros.
With recent change of Nokia’s strategy to offer a variety of cheaper smartphones targeting younger not so affluent audience including the cheapest windows phone Nokia Lumia 520, Nokia introduced a higher specced windows phone Lumia 720 at a very reasonable price.
Featuring a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8227 processor with Adreno 305 graphics and 512MB of RAM, Lumia 720 is capable of delivering the phone experience a young and hip people demand; web browsing, social media, picture taking, video making and sharing it all with a touch of a screen. Premium 6.7MP camera features f/1.9 aperture for low light conditions, LED flash and Carl Zeiss lens. With auto-focus and backside-illumination the rear camera outputs 720p video. Front camera is of 1.3 mega pixel.
4.3-inch curved glass display features Nokia’s ClearBlack technology reducing outdoor glare. The touch screen has increased sensitivity to work with long nails or thick gloves.
Nokia Lumia 720 has 8GB of built in memory with possibility of expanding this by adding a microSD card of up to 64GB. 2,000mAh battery should allow for 10 plus hours of talk time. The operating system if of course Windows Phone 8.
Nokia has big plans for Lumia 720 in Europe and Asia where lack of 4G capability wouldn’t discourage people from buying it. UK site Clove is promising Nokia Lumia 720 on April 1st for 299.99 pounds.
