Woot! Seagate enters SSD market
Seagate, a major player of HDD market has now entered the market of Solid State Drives (SSDs). It has launched its first SSD called the Pulsar drive, which is designed for the blade computers and general server apps and not for netbooks.
As expected, the Pulsar is much faster than the fastest HDDs till date. Let’s hope that Seagate will come up with a low cost SSD for netbooks too.
