Sony Ericsson sales slump. Net profits fall way too much!

Sony Ericsson is planning to cut nearly 2,000 jobs due to poor sales. Sales have reportly fallen from 3.11 billion to 2.82 billion. Net profits have fallen to 97% according to the Q2 report :!:

  • Their mid range phones have not sold too well.
  • Their high-end phones are poor to what the market is currently offering.
  • Clearly, a lack of innovation.
  • They completely lack WOW-factor phones like iPhone, Nokia N95 and Nokia E90
  • Sony Ericsson X1is still to be launched.

    I saw this coming. SE really needs to start doing some serious stuff otherwise we will soon forget if SE even exists.
