30% chance of RIM making it

Blackberry 10 device

BlackBerry 10 is going to be launched in January. New devices are ‘make it or break it’ deal for RIM. There are some, maybe 10 percent of smartphone lovers that are in love with BB’s productivity tools and old fashion keyboard.

There will be two new BlackBerry 10 devices; one all-touch and one with traditional QUERTY keyboard.

RIM is trying to attract developers to code new apps in time for Blackberry 10 launch by giving away 7,500 Blackberry 10 devices.

So, if Nokia and its new trademark lawsuits don’t succeed RIM may have about 30 percent chance of reviving the troubled company. RIM’s shares rose 80 percent since September and it now sits firmly at $11.60 per stock. Early reviews of the operating system and handsets sounded very positive, so we wish RIM good luck and hope all goes well.
